I saw this even when downloading the zip and trying to manually extract the contents.

Seems to be from these whoppers of a directory structure:

aem-phonegap-starter-kit/content-dev/src/main/content/jcr_root/content/phonegap/app_name_placeholder/shell/_jcr_content/pge-app/app-content/phonegap/plugins/cordova-plugin-camera/tests/ios/CDVCameraTest/CDVCameraTest.xcodeproj/*

@timdonovanuk, the plugins have been removed from the repository. Can you confirm if you're still having this issue?
