Logs from Discord:
[00.26]Chaos: I wanted to install Ente Auth on my Windows 10 operating system computer, and Windows Defender gave a warning, and when I scanned it in VirusTotal, it gave 2 warnings.

[05.40]mesub: False positive?
[05.40]mesub: If you're very concerned you can verify the checksum
;
[01.04]reihoron: WIndows defender flags any executable that is no signed by microsoft (i.e. anything signed by a key not in the microsoft database)
BKAV is known to a huge number of false positive
crowdstrike falcon however, they claim they have "zero false positive" but apparantly they do

Forgot to mention, always ask both developers and the AVs companies that flag apps; are these actual viruses or false positive cases: many examples from varied ranges of developers/apps:

tho i have hope for other AVs than defender, for false positives reports. tho for small devs, its totally not happening. even with the sheer apps nirsoft made, no AVs are convinced. maybe the code needs to be optimized so security risks are mitigated, like how patching CVEs work?
thats prolly too much for small devs tho.
