I've just noticed that the website hosting the Malware Domain list is down and AGH is throwing an error in the console window:

Couldn't request filter from URL http://www.malwaredomainlist.com/hostslist/hosts.txt, skipping: Get http://www.malwaredomainlist.com/hostslist/hosts.txt: dial tcp 143.215.130.61:80: connect: connection refused

The problem is, if you were only looking at the AGH web UI, you would never know that the filter list was failing to update because

  1. There is no error reporting in the UI (maybe there could be a notification window at top of page for errors? Or error could generate a banner?)
  2. On the Filters page, in the Filters and hosts blocklists table, the 'Last time updated' column shows the last time an attempt was made to update the list, not when the list was actually (successfully) updated. (either the column should be renamed to reflect what the timestamp really reflects, or, the timestamp should only reflect successful updates of the respective lists.)
