Events demo seems to not work properly

The events demo fires two events, and not at the same rate, but they math at one of the frequencies.

It currently happens (maybe because my monitor is 144hz) it seems that the events are not being fired regularly, the events are fired if you wait a while, but not in the same fashion as before, where it was very frequent.

Maybe is the 144 frame rate or the change in the time uniform that was made recently.
