By adding more and more models, we end up with a dist3 folder that's a staggering size.
If you look a little more closely at compilation, intermediate files are created that are potentially useless after complete generation.
.cxx files with thousands of lines of wrapped code or .cxx.o files with tens of mega bytes are quite large.
I don't know swig very well. But I wanted to know if there was a way of reducing the output size.
As part of a company project we've created dozens of new models and we've exceeded the 10GB volume mark on the dist3 folder.
We have our CIs but need to delete this folder, so it's not practical for sharing. What's more, compilation is generally quite slow (I think the creation of .cxx.o files is one of the reasons for this).
