  • To GitHub for making it easy for me to copy/paste this template now 😅
  • To @dartar and @strasser for giving me some nice feedback about 2i2c and for encouraging us to write more blog posts :-)
  • To @sgibson91 for brainstorming and talking through the CZI EOSS application with me!

Updates from last week ✔

What I'm up to next ⬜

  • Finalizing and submitting the EOSS application
  • More follow ups for https://github.com/2i2c-org/meta/issues/154
  • Kicking off some brainstorming and planning sessions for Jupyter Book + Pangeo, and thinking a bit about how we can organize these efforts
  • Implementing a bunch of proposals that the @2i2c-org/steering-council approved last week!

My availability for next week

  • I'm around, but I'll be a bit spotty in communication because my parents are visiting me (well, they are visiting my daughter, I'm not sure how much they care about me anymore now that she exists haha)

Special thanks to @ttimbers for bringing https://github.com/UBC-DSCI/rudaux/issues/121 to my attention. It was very rewarding to work on :)

  • Thanks to @yuvipanda for all the work in the AWS deployment story and his help with the OpenScapes Hub.

Updates from last week ✔

  • I worked towards the AWS deployment story, not only trying to deploy OpenScapes hub but also providing feedback on multiple PRs pushing on that direction.

What I'm up to next ⬜

  • I'd like to focus my involvement with the JupyterBook story
  • Some meetings around the JB story
  • Keep pushing on the AWS deployment ongoing work

My availability for next week

  • I will be visiting my son (he lives in another state) during the whole week. I will be working at non regular hours so I can take care of him.
