Describe the bug

  • If I uncheck " For linked distributed posts, replace the author name and link with the original site name and link." option in Distributor Settings page and save it
  • After that I pushed/pulled some posts but author name and link are replaced

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Go to Distributor > Distributor Settings
  2. Uncheck " For linked distributed posts, replace the author name and link with the original site name and link."
  3. Save it
  4. Change the link and author of original post
  5. Now check in connected post - Author and link is changed or not
  6. Now push post to another site and check link is changed in another site or not

We seem to be having the opposite problem. When we have the "For linked distributed posts, replace the author name and link with the original site name and link" turned on, we are still getting the original author instead of the site.
